C & I Storage Yard Impound Rules

In order to retrieve your impounded vehicle please read the following information:

​

(1)  C & I Storage Yard office hours are, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Mon – Sat.  Vehicles must be picked up an hour before closing.  After hour contact information is posted at the facility and drivers and dispatchers live near-by.  To better provide you with excellent customer service, please schedule to come during office hours to pick up the vehicle.

(2)  It’s important to request what the charges will be on the day you plan on picking up the vehicle.  Charges may change if you retrieve the vehicle after hours or not on the same day as you call.

(3)  You must provide GOVERNMENT issued photo identification to retrieve the vehicle.  ID must be yours, match the proof of ownership and be valid.  Acceptable forms of identification are VALID TX or other state driver’s license, VALID non-driver Id, VALID passport, VALID military ID, 15 day temporary license issued when the police confiscated your license (white form) *

(4)  You must pay ALL current charges on the vehicle.  We accept check, cash, debit and credit VISA and MasterCard.

(5)   Vehicles that are not drivable from our lot must be towed.  We may assist you with an affordable tow or your choice tow company.  Tow-outs by other companies must be completed during business hours same day or additional storage or after hour release fees may apply.

(6)  If the owner is not available, another person can be designated to pick up the vehicle on their behalf by completing a NOTORIZED letter.  An example of an acceptable letter can be found by following this links:

C & I Storage Yard, LLC complies with the Vehicle Storage Facility administrative rules regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR), Missouri City, Harris County and Fort Bend County police departments.
